CRET-LOG
A University Research Laboratory in Management Science in constant evolution

1973	Management Science differentiates itself from Economics. University Professor, D. HUILLIER, creates CRET, Centre de Recherches d’Economie des Transports (Transport Economics Research Centre).
1974	The laboratory welcomes the first doctorate candidates.
1976	The laboratory develops its research in Logistics and Management Science.
1990	The laboratory develops its research in Strategy.
1991	Creation of the DESS logistics management.
1992	CRET transfers and transforms . University Professor in Management Science, Jacques COLIN, becomes head of CRET-LOG, Centre de REcherche sur le Transport et la LOGistique (Transport and Logistics Research Centre).
1995	Creation of the DEA logistics and organisationunder the direction of University Professor in Management Science, Nathalie FABBE-COSTES. Creation of the Rencontres Internationales de la Recherche en Logistique - RIRL (International Conference on Research in Logistics) Introduction of the “Grand Sud” collective tutoring Beginning of research on the inter-related health/management theme.
1996	CRET-LOG is officially recognised as a doctorate candidate facility(EA881).
1998	CRET-LOG organises the 2nd Rencontres Internationales de la Recherche en Logistique in Marseille.
1999	CRET-LOG introduces the SFA (Further Training Seminar) - « research in logistics and distribution » for the FNEGE. - Fondation Nationale pour l’Enseignement de la Gestion des Entreprises. CRET-LOG participates in the creation of the IUP company management and administration at the Université de la Méditerranée. The teacher-researcher team increases: six researchers, seven professors, twenty-three lecturers and four Ecole Supérieure de Commerce teachers are now collaborating with the laboratory.
2000	Logistics becomes a speciality option in the Concours d’Agregation du Supérieur in Management Science.
2003	First convention of the GISEH - Gestion et Ingénierie des Systèmes Hospitaliers (Administration and development of Hospital Systems).

2002 2006	Participation on the 2003 – 2006 PREDIT 3 development committee.

2004 2007	CRET-LOG is officially recognised as a Masters of Economics and Management Logistics Management and Strategy option supporting structure.
